Andhra Pradesh Civil Liberties Committee (APCLC) on Wednesday moved PIL on the Chattisgarh encounter in which Eight Naxals were slain near Telangana-Chhattisgarh interstate border.

Two dead bodies of Naxals slain near Bhadrachalam were identified on Wednesday. Efforts to identify the remaining dead bodies is underway.

The Chhattisgarhencounter turned out to be a major blow to the Maoist leadership as at least eight Naxals were slain during the operation.

One of the Naxals was identified as Kothakonda Srujana alias Rago alias Navatha, 29. A resident of Paidipalli village in Hasanparthi mandalam under Warangal District. She has been underground since 10 years.

The second, Danasari Sarakka alias Anitha native of Madaguda Kothaguda mandalam Warangal District. She has been operating underground since 1 year. She is known to be a close relative of Haribushan, Secretary of Telangana State Committee.

The High Court had  ordered the government to preserve the dead bodies in to help file detailed reports.

Police initially deduced that Haribhushan was among the Maoists. However, later hesitated to confirm his death, they said hat Lachanna was indeed killed in the gunfight.
