TATA GROUP LOSES ITS CREDIBILITY BY SHIELDING TOPS GROUP GOONS

TOPS goons hired by the Tata Sons brutally assaulted journalists on Friday for no reason

Three photo-journalists are still in hospital

Instead of sacking these goons, TOPS group continue to shield them

Despite our demand for removing  TOPS guards from Bombay House, Tata Group sides with TOPS thugs, and endorses their “goondagardi” as well

This is not the first time that the Tata group-hired TOPS group has attacked media. In the recent past, photo-journalists were attacked opposite Taj Mahal Hotel and near Mumbai Airport by them

In the Mumbai Press Club member late Charu Deshpande’s suicide case, the Mumbai Press Club had officially asked Tata Group for providing their internal inquiry report, but the group has not responded yet.

The Tata Group continues to be adamant in the attack issue, and so is the TOPS Group. The Tata Group has failed in meeting our demand for scrapping the services of TOPS group from all its group companies. These goons cannot continue in a corporate house that declares itself transparent and a strong believer in ethical values.

Since the Tata Group has not responded to the demand of the media organisations, we are left with no option, but to resort to a democratic way of protest, a silent march to the Bombay House. We call the protest ‘’Chalo #BombayHouse.”

All media persons are requested to assemble at Hutatma Chowk tomorrow Tuesday, November 8, 2016 at 2.30 pm. From there we will march to Bombay House in a silent march.

We also take this opportunity to ask the government to make attacks on journalists a cognizable and non-bailable offence.

Now or Never

Come out and join the protest
