Parishad has a mission for Goa. Along with its thugs in the Bajrang Dal and Durga Vahini, the VHP plans to make sure that beef is eradicated from the dining tables of Goa within the next two years. They also say they will stop cow slaughter in Goa. Yes. Like that is going to be so difficult. Cow slaughter is already banned in Goa. There’s been a total ban on cow slaughter for decades in Goa ever since The Goa, Daman & Diu Prevention of Cow Slaughter Act, 1978.
The VHP has generously said that it will not ask the government of Goa to help with the beef consumption ban. Their bravehearts in the Bajrang Dal and Durga Vahini will get the job done without Goa government help. Their modus operandi is simple. Tried and tested. Stop all cattle carriers coming into Goa, by beating up the drivers. Stop the sale of beef in Goa by lynching one or maybe two beef sellers.
Two years. They have set themselves a timeline of two years to change the dining habits of Goans. Two years. Yet they still can’t build the Ram temple at Ayodhya. They have been saying that no one can stop them from building the Ram temple at Ayodhya. Well, where’s the temple, geniuses? If you are so far above the law, what’s going wrong in Ayodhya? It’s been 25 years since you destroyed the Babri Masjid.
What will Parrikar do? Pull a Muthalik and ban entry of VHP-BajrangDal-Durga-Vahini in Goa?
