Gujarat University rejects RTI request on PM Modi’s Masters degree #WTFnews


Gujarat University has rejected an RTI request on Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s educational qualification.

An Ahmedabad based RTI activist had filed a request before the university asking them to furnish the details on the students, who enrolled there for Masters degree between 1981 and 1984.

The RTI activist further added that his request was for all those students, who attended classes in Master of Arts either via correspondence or regular courses both in English and Gujarati languages.

The university sent a one-line reply in Gujarati, ” Under RTI act of 2005, this information can’t be made public.’

The activist, who has requested to be anonymous, told that this was the period PM Modi had claimed to complete his Masters degree adding that he had deliberately asked for details around all students as he feared the university would never entertain specific request on the prime minister. had earlier reported how both the PMO and appellate authority had rejected separate RTI requests seeking to confirm PM Modi”s educational qualification.

Before the men who abducted her could settle on the backseat, the girl kicked one of them “ below the belly”. So strong was the kick that the man fell on the road making way for her to jump out of the vehicle. This prompted the three to come out of the vehicle and try to grab her again.</p> <p>The girl screamed at the top of her voice and flashed the knife, which stopped the four from pouncing on her. Whether it was her call for help or the sharpness of the blade is a matter of conjecture, but it was sufficient to make the criminals get back into the car and escape.</p> <p>After returning home from the coaching institute, the braveheart narrated the incident to her parents and brother who immediately lodged a complaint with the Shyam Nagar <a class="zem_slink" title="Police station" href="" target="_blank" rel="wikipedia">police station</a>.</p> <p>The police had not been able to identify and locate the miscreants till Saturday evening, said station house officer <a class="zem_slink" title="Bhopal" href="" target="_blank" rel="wikipedia">Bhopal</a> Singh.
