Ludhiana: In a ghastly incident, a 17-year-old rape victim was allegedly set ablaze by six men in Punjab’s Ludhiana on Thursday for filing a police complaint against them. Police have arrested two of the accused while the others continue to remain at large.
The victim has been hospitalised with 75 per cent burns and her condition is reported to be critical.
“Today when we came back home, the girl said six guys came and raped her, she identified the guys, she knew four of them and two were new to her. She said they threw kerosene on her and set her on fire. We want justice,” said the victim’s father.
