Jan Swasthaya Abhiyan Delhi and Nischay have started a Helpline. We have been successfully running this Helpline for the past three weeks.
The Helpline number can easily be used to call from any region of the country and receive medical advice for covid and also for other ailments. An able team of doctors, nurses and volunteers is working day and night to help people.
They are also providing Teleconsultation service by doctors at specific times, daily. As we all know the situation of the current health system is precarious, the purpose of the Helpline is to help manage cases at home itself as far as possible.
They are also trying more specifically to reach out to workers and marginalised communities who are more vulnerable and also more unlikely to be able to access care.
