Environmental activism and those talking about water have become the biggest threat for Tamilnadu Police.. Every month or Fortnightly a false case loaded with serious charges is being filed against activists across the state.
Siva Apt has been working for years exposing many destroying the water catchment of Noyyal and has been critical of the encroachments by Isha foundation and also has been showcasing what ails Noyyal restoration.
He has been arrested under serious non -bailable sections. Kindly do share this post and do write a note about Siva. Will keep all posted after getting more info from Coimbatore.
Cheating, intimidation and abusing in the name of caste are the sections filed against siva .. !!

Environmentalists and human rights activists are being arrested for exposing hazards of nuclear plants. This is deplorable. The false charges on them must be withdrawn by the government if Tamil nadu and they should be released.
