The Dalit woman teacher’s body was found in a semi-naked state in a field in Paipatpura village under Majhola police station in Moradabad of Uttar Pradesh.

Moradabad: In a shocking incident, a Dalit woman teacher was found dead in a field in Moradabad district of Uttar Pradesh. The teacher was killed after being strangled.

The incident took place in Paipatpura village under Majhola police station limits. The incident triggered panic in the area.

Senior district police officials including Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) reached the spot with the forensic team to collect samples from the crime scene, according to a report in Hindi daily Hindustan.

The woman teacher had left her home on Saturday morning to give students tuition classes and was missing since that day.

Before her death, the woman was believed to have struggled with her killers as injury marks on her body suggested.

There is also a suspicion that the woman may have been raped before her murder. The cops are now scanning CCTV footage of the area in an attempt to get a clue about the killers.

Police officials said they will soon work out the case. The woman’s body was found in a semi-naked state in the field.

In a similar incident reported from Badaun district on January 29, a 35-year-old Dalit woman was gang-raped by six men including five minors. The accused also filmed the crime and made it viral. Police later arrested six accused in connection with the crime.

The accused were arrested after the victim approached police after the video went viral. Five of the accused are minors aged between 15 and 17 years old. All five were sent to juvenile home. The sixth accused, who is an adult, and was sent to jail.
