In the Motinagar police station area of Sagar, four accused have been identified in the case of beating a young man naked after taking him hostage. After identification, the police started nabbing the accused. While taking action, the police have detained three accused from different places. Those who have been brought to the police station. Police is questioning the accused. On Monday, the Motinagar police made statements under section 164 in the court of the victim youth resident of Badtuma. In which the names of the four accused who assaulted were revealed.

As soon as the names surfaced, the police formed teams to arrest the accused. The teams reached from Sagar to Bhopal. While taking action, three accused have been detained. Here, politics has heated up in the city after the incident came to the fore. The Congress has submitted a memorandum after reaching the SP office demanding strict action against the culprits.

The names of these accused came to the fore in the incident

In Sagar, on Sunday, a video of a young man being stripped naked and mercilessly thrashed surfaced on social media. Taking cognizance of the video, the Motinagar police station had registered a case against the unknown accused. After which the search for the victim youth was started. As soon as the victim was identified, the police brought him to the police station. inquired about the incident. Recorded the statement in the court on Monday. In which the victim has given the names of the assaulters. In the case, the victim has identified Ranjit Lodhi, Saurabh Athiya, Dharmendra Athiya and Mahesh Banjara as the assaulters. Apart from this, two other people are involved. Whose identification is being done.

The accused were employees of Dharmakanta

The accused who brutally assaulted the youth were employees of Dharmakanta. The said Dharmakanta belongs to BJP leader Mahesh Sahu Dalmil. The place where the young man was assaulted on the Khurai Road Bypass, Dharamkanta and the employees who assaulted him. However, even before the video of the fight came to the fore, Sahu had removed these employees from Dharmakante.

The victim said – When he went to ask the address, he locked him in the room and started beating him.

In police interrogation, the victim told that he had gone to Badi Nadi at his sister’s house on the night of the incident. On not getting the address of the house, he reached there after seeing the burning light of Dharmakante. When he went inside and asked the people sitting there for the address, they caught him. He started saying what is he doing here so late at night. On suspicion of theft, they were made to take off their clothes and started fighting with sticks. I kept pleading, but he kept on beating. He left outside after a fight. They were talking among themselves by name. Mahesh Banjara, Ranjit Lodhi, Dharmendra Athiya, Saurabh Athiya and two others were involved in the assault. I will recognize them by looking at them.

Further action will be taken after investigation

Additional SP Vikram Singh Kushwaha said that a nominated case has been registered against the four accused named by the victim in the statement given in the court. Two other accused are yet to be identified. The victim says that he does not know the owner of Dharmakanta. Dharmkanta owner Mahesh Sahu has been questioned in this regard. In which he denied having any knowledge about the incident. Evidence will come to the fore in further investigation, based on that further action will be taken.
