Indian all-rounder Shivam Dube married the love of his life Anjum Khan in a private ceremony on Friday. While many congratulated the all-rounder on entering a new phase in life, there was no shortage of people spewing hatred and questioning his decision to marry outside of his religion and following  Islamic rituals during the wedding.©

Needless to say but, in a secular nation like India, people, among many other things, have every right to marry whoever they want and our constitution gives them the absolute freedom to decide who they want to spend their life with. And Dube’s decision to marry a muslim girl should be no one’s concern even otherwise.

We loved with a love which was more than love …

And now this is where our forever starts ️

Just Married …

But sadly, criticising someone on social media has become so easy these days that people don’t think twice before slamming anyone, hiding behind a virtual face.

The images the Rajasthan Royals all-rounder shared from his wedding ceremony, showed him following certain Islamic rituals and people started bashing him left, right and centre, accusing him of all sorts of nonsense.

Some cheap hindu is still exists.

If you love someone it doesn’t mean to adopt their religious rituals. Big shame on the name of hindu. #boycottshivamdube

Converted for love

For some Hindus their identity is so cheap….#ShivamDube https://t.co/A3Q214jfay— Vikram Rao (@Dentist56383764) July 17, 2021

He will say its his wish to marry as Muslim culture but in reality everyone knows.

Even if you marry their girl you will have to convert.

Best of luck bro.— Lazy Thakur (@RahulThakurHack) July 16, 2021

“We loved with a love which was more than love … And now this is where our forever starts Just Married … 16-07-2021 #togetherforever,” Dube wrote on the micro-blogging site.

Dube’s post gave a clear message of love and harmony but the hate the newly-wed couple got in return was uncalled for and must be condemned in the strongest of ways.

Thankfully, there were many people who confronted the hate-mongers and called them out for politicising the sacred bond of love just because they both belonged to different religions.

Wish you both a happy married life.

Don’t bother about the religious hate mongers having a go at you!

Love is beyond anything…He proved it. Have a happy and peaceful life ahead…️— Jisha Laha 🇮🇳 (@JishaLaha) July 17, 2021

While hate-mongering has been on the rise ever since the advent of social media, criticising someone for marrying outside their religion is truly tasteless.a baseball player holding a bat on a field: © Instagram/Shivam Dube© Provided by MensXP © Instagram/Shivam Dube

However, what matters is that Dube and Anjum have sent a strong message of love and harmony, and we can only congratulate them on starting a new phase in their lives in each other’s company. We wish the couple a happy married life ahead.
